The Historic Long Room
Overlooking charming little Unity Alley, the warm and elegant Long Room has soaring 15-foot ceilings, two stone fireplaces, dramatic Venetian chandeliers, and large windows all around, making it perfect for any occasion. The Long Room has long served as a bastion of Southern gentility. The room features French crystal wall sconces, antique heart pine floors, and padded silk-covered walls. Handmade Italian chairs and crisp white linens set the stage for Charleston’s finest cuisine and an award-winning wine list. It was even the site of a dinner honoring President George Washington during his Southern tour of our new nation in 1791.The Long Room accommodates 80-100 guests for a seated dinner and 120-130 guests for a standing cocktail reception.
The Gallery Room
McCrady’s newest restoration project is known as the Gallery Room. Overlooking Charleston’s own Restaurant Row, East Bay Street, the Gallery offers exposed brick walls, original hardwood floors, and 14-foot ceilings. Three tall windows let in natural light during the daytime and offer beautiful views of the streetscape as the sun sets. The urban loft feel lends itself to the most versatile of McCrady’s collection; memories are sure to be made here. The Gallery Room accommodates 80-100 guests for a seated dinner and 120-130 guests for a standing cocktail reception.
McCrady’s can accommodate a variety of parties, weddings and events. We have more information on our rooms and menus in the sections above. For any questions, please call Sunday Tuk, our Director of Private Events at 843-577-0025, extension 2 or email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
